Bridge 2 Success is a youth-serving program that targets at-risk youth ages 6-19 years old from the Southwest Little Rock community. Our program consists of three components: Recruitment, Enrichment, and Empowerment.
Our recruitment strategy relies on peer-to-peer engagement and first-hand recommendations to the program. This ensures that we build the program’s community at our center and make meaningful connections with the youth and families who participate.
We want to enrich the lives and experiences of those who join us each day. Actively engaging youth in our program in educationally and socially enriching curriculum in a safe and welcoming environment is at the heart of that strategy. Building a social network in the community through churches, schools, and other community organizations also strengthen the sense of community that we are aiming to enrich for each participant.
Fostering a supportive environment, strengthened by the bond of a peer network and community partners empowers our youth and helps them feel connected to the larger community. Youth participate in life skills like interview preparation, job shadowing, college and community service projects, and receive support in securing employment. The student feedback and their experiential learning are important to us. We rely on them to help us continuously improve our programming approaches and strategies.
Thank you for allowing your student to be part of our program.
